Klaus Perwas Announced as Speaker for the Basketball Performance Summit 2026 in Vechta
The Basketball Performance Summit 2026 is proud to welcome Klaus Perwas, one of Germany’s most respected basketball coaches, as an official speaker in Vechta.
From June 12–14, 2026, the current Head Coach of the Frankfurt Skyliners will share insights from more than two decades of professional basketball, player development, and high-performance coaching with attendees at BPS 2026.
Perwas is widely recognized for his commitment to long-term player development, attention to detail, and his ability to build high-performing team cultures. Over many years, he played a key role within the Frankfurt Skyliners organization as an Assistant Coach, helping develop numerous young talents on their path to professional basketball while repeatedly stepping up as Head Coach during challenging periods for the club.
He has also gained valuable experience on the international stage. As an Assistant Coach for the German National Basketball Team, Klaus Perwas was part of the coaching staff that led Germany to the 2023 FIBA World Championship title while working alongside some of Europe’s top players at the highest level of international basketball.
His work is especially defined by a deep understanding of individual skill development, modern training methodologies, and the daily process of helping players maximize their potential — topics that will play a central role at the Basketball Performance Summit.
